Mama Mia, itsa Pizza

I hardly ever go out for pizza, because I am just too too picky. I don't like my pizza smothered in toppings and cheese; I actually like to taste the dough, which should be a bit chewy but thin and crispy. Lol. I know, I know...but thats the way i like it, crispy and chewy. I've undergone a quest to find the best pizza dough recipe, and i think i might have finally found it....a lean dough with just a drizzle of olive oil, and a few tablespoons of sugar.





And what I like to top my pizza with? Anchovies! And heaps of sriracha sauce. This is my hot sauce of choice...spicy and a bit sweetish. Oh my! It seems like I eat almost everything with this stuff.

















As for getting the crust all lovely and crisp, the secret is to use a pizza stone. Get a pizza stone, people!!! And I guarantee you will never bake another pizza without one again. I find that it even helps with those frozen pizzas you from the grocery store, it makes them palatable....well, almost.
